RooTxBeeR Posted February 15, 2014 Report Posted February 15, 2014 Well if as you are saying, ground and power are fine. You have a clean source from the head unit. Even if you had the gain at 0 or 100%, it doing that noise makes me think it is blown. Try taking the cover off the amplifier and seeing if there are any burn marks on the PCB board. It wasn't the RCA cables, they were fine, the problem had to do with the RCAs on the back of the Head-unit, I think the pico fuse blew, I wrapped speaker wire around the RCAs and grounded it to the head-unit chassis, and that fixed the problem.
