So if I strap amps amps then 2 ohm is okay since each amp is 1 ohm? if you strap two amps (that are identical, and have the ability to strap) then yes 2 ohms makes each amp see 1 ohm Best solution is to strap two identical amps. You have enough cash to find two used 1500-2000 amps. Check craiglist, caco, classified sections here,... I bought a brandnew Incriminator 20.1 (2400 @ 1 Ohm) for less than $600 recently, on sale. So you can find good deals on the web. Take your time, you current amp is still working ? So no rush ! You can try to sell it to make some more cash.
