port is on the smaller side, but I think it will work out okay. I've seen a decent amount of people have success with smaller ports. I guess we'll see, if there is any problems, its rebuild time :)

It looks fine thats just what people always say

TDH FTW !!!

Today, I started the trim panel. I have a plan of what I want it to look like in the end, hopefully I can obtain the results that I am looking for.

First I cut the wood (two main top and bottom pieces), then I cut out a bunch of curved braces, that way I could get a nice curve to the trim panel, after that I taped off the car in preparation of fiberglass.

I applied fleece, and then added resin, then a bunch of layers of fiberglass mat for some strength.

It didn't hit me until after I finished fiberblassing, that I probably could have cut some sort of tube (pvc, or sonotube) to get the same curve. Oh well, I am learning as I go along!

Here I added some fiberglass body filler to the ends where there is a weird curve to my car.

After everything was all set, I started a little bit of sanding.

Okay sorry for the delay in pics, I was out of town for a little, finally got to some more work.

After sanding down the fiberglass a little, I started to add some body filler. Sanding + more body filler = Lots of labor.

I then cut out the whole in which the ZX2500 will sit behind. I also got to work on some led's. Orange is one of my favorite colors, so that is what I chose.

Alright here we go. I decided that I want to make an insert to give it some contrast, and some curves. The actual panel will be in black while the insert and box will be the same color as the interior of my car. Here I cut out the insert to my desired shape.

Then I wrapped 5 layers of tape around the insert to account for the thickness of the material that I will use to wrap everything. After that I built up the sides, sanded, and got it rather smooth. It doesn't have to be absolutely perfect because it will be wrapped.
