I just ordered 2 FI BL dual 2 ohm 12's,there gonna be powered by a 1500 BDCP I looked at wiring diagrams before I purchased and thought I could have both subs running at a 1ohm load. Now I'm thinking I was wrong. Is there any way thats possible if not what's the right way to wire them to get the most power, and is that 1500 per sub or split in half for 1500 total? One day I'll understand all this shit...

.5 OHM or 2 OHM if you use that single amplifier on both subs together.

EDIT: You have 1 RF T1500bd CP correct? technically then that's 1500 watts RMS divided by 2 so 750 per sub. Dynamically speaking your subs have potential to see more than that. You can give those subs 1 amp per and then run each amp at 1 ohm and be happy all day long. =)

Those subs are rated at 1500 watts RMS correct?

Yes and I'm either gonna do that or get a 2500 instead.

Not sure what you have bought so far but those 2 subs can easily take 3K+ RMS (combined) on the daily so even a 2500 would be a little behind on peak efficiency IMO.

I just received the 1500 today and the subs are being built now, don't have another $700 for another 1500 right now all I have is a RF1000 that's in my car now.Would it not be ideal to have 1 sub on the 1500 and 1 on the 1000.
