MACnonsence6 Posted February 25, 2014 Report Posted February 25, 2014 when you strap an amp you effectivley are running both amps together as one circut thats why they have the woofer outputs bridged from one amp to the other in something like this to woofer - + - -------- + - - to woofer . so the -from one amp conects to the + of the other then u use the + output from one and the - from the other to your woofers keep in mind though that now the min impedence is doubled because what ever the final ohm load is each amp sees half that so if you have a 1 ohm final each amp is going to see .5 I picked up an MTX Sw1212 powered subwoofer today. This thing sounds amazing. 130 watts, 12" woofer with a passive 12" woofer tuned to 27 hz. Moving the pictures on the walls and my girl got wet from the bass when i showed her haha. Tonight should be good haha.

It doesn't control the slave so to speak, you are running it 180 degrees out of phase of the master and then wire in reverse to flip to output on slave, master setting are passed/cloned to slave.
