I can either wire my sub 4 ohm (500rms) or I can wire 1 ohm (1500rms).... Now I don't play my system much cause of my kids and I do plan on the big 3 and an xsD3100 when money allows me to but how should I wire my amp in the meantime??

So I know it's full tilt when it's all the way or do I leave a little room for adjust on the knob???

corvettesundown Posted February 26, 2014 Report Posted February 26, 2014 i usually leave my bass knob mid way so i have the choice to quiet it or make it louder. i have voltage drop at 1250 RMS on stock electrical idk how much yolur stock alt and battery can handle but id just watch the voltage like hdorre said. You might want to invest in an el cheapo voltage meter from ebay or amazon as it can be difficult to judge from a stock guage.
