Umm yea, if you dont pay for the ad it wont go through, and it will never appear..

It wont even let you click the "add advert" button on the bottom without filling out all the lines marked with an *, and the pricing for the selection is one of those * marked items.

it was in premium classifieds... I didn't even see anything that said I had to pay lol i'll go back through and try again thanks

You need 750 post to post in the classified section. There is a pay section though.

Yes, you have to pay for the premium classifieds. Its at the bottom of the screen right before clicking the add advert button.
The pricing starts at $0.99 for the cheapest method for 14 days, or $2.99 for a 21 day listing at the top of the list in the premium section.
It is only Free if you are a supporting member, or a member seller, which also costs money, but just a kick back to those that paid for a add free forum layout, along with larger pm boxes, and other bonus's of being a supporting member.
