bass_lord Posted February 27, 2014 Report Posted February 27, 2014 I finally found a second Fi 18 Btl (UFO magnet). Now i need ideas on a box that is capable of doing hairtricks. I drive a 2001 GMC Jimmy 2 door.. How many cubic ft. do i need and how much port space is need to do a pretty nice one. Im open to all suggestions. Space really isnt an issue. I can use as much as needed as long as the box stay 36-38 inches wide... i dont care how deep it goes..

Are you looking for advice on building an enclosure SPECIFICALLY to hair trick? Cone area and power are the two big ingredients in getting a hair trick. Simply building a wall, tuned to 25 Hz on a couple thousand Watts isn't the formula for guaranteeing a hairtrick. How many boxes have you built, you don't have any post history so I can't track anything down that would give me an idea. Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.

You will get louder if you remove it, and build a long box with about 170+ port area tune around mid 30's blazers tend to peak in the low 40's.
