Power ?

Alright so im installing the 270 alt next week. My question is what battery to run the (+) cable to ? When standing in front of the truck there's a battery left and right. The power being supplied to amps are going to pull from the right battery( well hooked up to the right) but this battery is furthest away from alt, probably a couple feet of wire. The left batery is probably 10 inches from alt Either way both batts will be connected with 0. Does it matter which one, or what would be better ? Am i over thinking this ? lol

Thanks..

in my personal opinion, you should run dual runs from alt to the nearest bat. then dual runs to the next bat which your amps are connected to. then dual runs to back of car. you should also run dual negative runs from alt casing to first battery. and dual negative runs from first bat to second bat if you want minimal voltage drop. especially in a hot engine bay.

then if you have a good grounding spot in back you can ground amps back there

edit: if you are only running an RF T1500 single runs should be fine. but dual runs would be better after things heat up.
