well today i was about to make a video of my mirror flex because its flexing like crazy now and is startin to fall down when all of a sudden the sub started to fart and crap out

im not too pissed because im sure best buy will just give me a new one but what do you think caused this to happen...

looks ok right??

nvm its fucked

ouch

IMG_0610-1.jpg

is it because of my small box and too much power

i have my gain set at 3/4 but the bass boost is pretty high

the sub never seemed to get super hot after some poundage

but i think until my new box im going to turn the gains down a good bit

I though a smaller box increases the power handling?

im guessing because ur gain and bass boost being up the way they were it did that...

well i see people finding there type r 12's over 1000 rms but my amp is rated 600rms at 2ohm but i cant say that that was going to the sub i bet more was going to it

it was fun while it lasted though but i think its time to just turn the bass boost off because i dont want this happening all the time

next time im going to tune the amp right

everyone learns there lessons and i learned mine im just happy i have the best buy full warranty best warranty money can buy

I bet you were clipping it

you can cook bacon shirtless if you're not a pussy...lol

not hatin, but am i wrong here it looks as if the amp is not grounded its hooked directly to the battery. it that the way it should be.

This man speaks the truth. I never turn my bass boost on, setting your gain properly should keep you from having to use the bass boost

My System:
