Rudemaxxx Posted March 1, 2014 Report Posted March 1, 2014 Hey guys, I have 2 sundown sa-12's in a nice prefab box and I was thinking of upgrading to a single 15" or 18" Sundown Zv4 or a NSv3 if I can get my hands on one from my sundown dealer or something. The new single would be in a custom box firing up with a rear port. What are your guys opinions on this switch? I'm going to upgrade my amp as well. Or just build a good box for those sa's It's an SUV so it's open cabin, I heard a single x-12 and it was louder/better sq than my 2 sa's. I don't really want to spend the money for a custom box on the SA's if imma upgrade anyways you know? It would be sick to do 2 zv4's but idk if my funds permit. I would take 2 sa 12s over a single x12 on the same amp every day of the week. a prefab really doesnt let those things do work.
