If loud as hell is all you need, then choose pro audio drivers with a pretty high power handling and pro audio horns. I'm glad you didn't post a budget or any goals except loud, makes life so much easier. Thinking is the root of all problems... You ALWAYS get what you pay for. bkolfo4
The components and crossovers for these were $600: Add more bass and bump the crossover point on the mains for another $250: The 8 12's need an amp. A 1000 watt plate amp for $300, behringer pro amp for $200, etc. Current system: 1997 Blazer - (4) Customer Fi NEO subs with (8) American Bass Elite 2800.1s Previous systems: 2000 Suburban - (4) BTL 15's and (4) IA 40.1's = 157.7 dB at 37 Hz. 1992 Astro Van - (6) BTL 15's and (6) IA 40.1's = 159.7 dB at 43 Hz. Stephen13
Go with a horn loaded design like Klipsch "La Scala" speakers. I know they aren't technically a "tower" speaker but if it's LOUD that you want you can't do better than a horn loaded design. 2011 Chevy Silverado LT 5.3L 4x4 Ext.-cab "Enjoy yourself.
