Just something for daily usage and loud. I wont be doing comps or anything like that. What i need: Set of (4x6s) front door Set of (1") tweeters Set of (6x9s) 2 (12s) possibly 3 1 amp for high and mids 1 amp for lows i was looking at type r s and sundown sa-12s but open to other stuff

soundstream15 Posted March 3, 2014 Report Posted March 3, 2014 I have a grand am, you can fit 15s, the Max H is 16" but I would just do 2 12s. I wouldn't worry about sealing the trunk off bc there is no gain, I did bc my areoport stuck out 3" I would stay away from the type Rs. My friend had a pair and he over powered them just a tad, clean signal and they smoked. I don't think they are good. The sundown SA series are great! I had a pair for 2 years
bcbrassard Posted March 3, 2014 Report Posted March 3, 2014 I would think about going 5.25" up fron instead of 4x6s. Make a MDF adaptor for the 5.25s and have a great front stage. I am sure you are going for easy replacement but i think you would be happier with a better front stage. just my 2 cents.
