SnowDrifter Posted March 7, 2014 Report Posted March 7, 2014 Ok,I do have a radio shack near me, ill check there.. Should i hammer crimp the end a bit after im done soldering for a little extra protection I'll kick you in the ding ding if you hammer on your terminals I like leaded plumbers or electrical solder. Haven't noticed a difference in lead/tin ratio in how well it works. I hate lead free silver solder though. Seems like it oxidizes and forms a "skin" way too fast, and doesn't wick very well. Also has a higher melting point ~~~~~~~~SAY NO TO PHOTOBUCKET~~~~~~~~ Snow's DD-1 tracks here: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/167433-snows-dd-1-tracks/ My take on OFC vs CCA: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/110381-things-that-piss-you-off-in-the-car-audio-world/?do=findComment&comment=2461444
