m720bos Posted March 5, 2014 Report Posted March 5, 2014 Would a recoil kit for a RF T2 12d4 kit work for a RF T1 12d4? this might be a stupid question but is there any difference in the coils? Im curious because repair sites carry T1 10" and T1 15" coils but only T2 12" coils and im wondering if it is because they are the same. It is my understanding that only the magnets and cones differ.

audiofanaticz Posted March 5, 2014 Report Posted March 5, 2014 He did answer your question. Its not the same coil. T1 woofer is a 3inch diameter voice coil. T2 is a 4inch diameter voice coil.
