gckless Posted March 19, 2014 Report Share Posted March 19, 2014 the rust came off pretty easy with just some lime away. but the pits are what im having to deal with now i couldnt find brasso at walmart didnt think to look at lowes when i was there. so ill have to try that. is that an abrasive also? It's more just a chemical, but it's somewhat abrasive, and it worked the best for me. I guess I really didn't try anything too abrasive though. The pits are the hard part. The rust is easy. It's stripping off that clear layer and getting to the pits that's the tough part. Have fun dude lol. "Clipping" is the biggest forum boner now. It's like witchcraft... it automatically explains just about everything people don't understand.
