hdorre
I use sketchup to help with cut sheets. I lay down a 48X96" and start making boxes for your cuts so you can figure out how to get the most out of your sheet of wood. I use a similar method.. I just use the back of the first receipt I find in my car lol But yea.. this.. MyRoomBeats
I'd be upset if I ran out like that and wasn't able to finish. I've been real busy and haven't got around to figuring the box specs yet and I also have not got wood so... 3/4in wood is best right?
gr8handogoatness
Yeah 3/4 is what most of us run.
smashedz28
Maybe a t-line isn't the best school project? Why not just go basic ported enclosure?
MyRoomBeats
I really want something different than just a "ported box" reason why I am doing a t-line and no offense intended if the quotations throw u off.

dubtuner98284
So once you figure out your individual parts that need to be cut for your t-line, I would suggest going to http://www.optimalon.com/online_cut_optimizer.htm to lay out the cutting. When you open the program, remember that most saws have a kerf of .1250 inches or 1/8 inch. Make sure that your panels are active, don't worry about waste, and that you can zoom in on the run image to get dimensions and save the picture to print out in the end. This will give you the best layout to cut by and keep your waste (falloff) to a minimum. Also remember that stock panels are going to be the 48x96 sheet size. Watch the video and you will get the idea for how to input your data. If you have too many problems using it, pm me with the parts list and I will send you back an image file with the panel cut layout. Good Luck.
