Ever have water enter your wire?

Recommended Posts

So how did the water get into the wire jacket?

It seems like the techflex and electrical tape and heatshrink is positioned somewhere in the middle of the wire, if the jacket isn't cut I don't see how wire could get through it.

Why did you do this: heatshrink>Techflex>electrical tape >heatshrink?

Instead of techflex>heatshrink.

Thinking is the root of all problems...

water never actually entered inside the wire jacket (never touched the tinned copper). The techflex sort of collected the water and then the outer piece of shrink wrap let it enter the car.

I did that because I was fuckin' OCD lol! It doesn't even need the techflex. which is why I did without this time.
