Nealon14 Posted March 22, 2014 Report Posted March 22, 2014 hey guys i am new to building boxes and i was hoping that some of you experienced car audio guys could share some general tips on building boxes. For example types of screws and bits to use how to line up the holes for the screws so it doesn't miss the hole(like if you are doing a center port and want to screw it in from the top and bottom i am afraid the screw will go off to the side and ruin the peice of wood. or stuff to keep note of or draw out certain things, how to seal up box leaks or seams maybe even some home made things to help out etc...

revoracing247 Posted March 22, 2014 Report Posted March 22, 2014 when applying wood glue on the ends of the boards. before you put them together spread the glue out evenly across the entire edge. this makes sure that there is no leaks and that there is a strong bond betwen the boards. ~ If it was easy, everybody would be doing it ~
