I originally purchased the 1.500's because all of the reference stuff is discontinued and there was not one 1.1000 available anywhere. Fast forward a month and I located what I believe to be the last 1.1000 in the supply chain and a barely used one. So, I have a 2.640 which does 2x190 that I had purchased for my midbass. The 1.500s do about the same wattage into 4 ohms. Do I keep the amp porn by running the monoblocks on my midbass or just use the two channel? Obviously the two sseparate amps are going to provide more control and more ccomplexity. What are you using to pprocess with? It's a MiniDSP in a PPI box. I have all the control I need. 8 channels of 31 band parametric EQ plus biquads if I need them (I won't). Bah, I'm conflicted.
