Cheapo
You just said it yourself for YOU, there are other great firearms newbie. Ever heard of a HK P7 may have the best factory trigger ever on a hand gun. Maybe the OP want's a 1911 safety who's to say, maybe he want's to carry it cocked and locked. There's tons of people who can manage a safety on a firearm just fine. You didn't address any of the other CW9 flaws why? You, nuthugger need to do some research and not online. All my knowledge is first hand with the weapon. The superior barrel on some other firearms and adding an extra mag increases the price. Just because the difference is barrels can't be noticed by a newbie doesn't mean there isn't a difference. Did you not see where Karhs were on the list to check out? Not even going to argue with someone who calls out newbie because someone is young. And yes I have heard of the P7. Sigh.

Cheapo
/\ but ASIDE from Kahr, go to a gun store and try them all. There are many brands that you can really not go wrong with (for the most part). Glock, XDM, HK, Kahr, SIG, ect. Put them in your waist band, see how much thickness they add. See how far the frame sticks out, is it easily concealed? Then, if you can find a range that rents guns by you, rent as many as you are interested in! Dont forget different calibers of the same firearm.
BigManAC
I went in today and tried a handful of different ones on. Right away i knew I wasn't going the revolver route, tried the glocks out but wasn't my thing. They had a 1911 loaded target that was awesome feeling but with a price tag of around $1200 I'm not sure I'll be getting it. Also tried some S&W's, Karr's and will go back this weeknd to try some others out like the Karh and browning. I'm in no rush bc I can just carry my XDM till I find one I like. I'll keep you guys updated. 2001 Saturn L200-Sony MEX-BT4100PFRONT STAGE:- (4) Crescendo PWX 6- Cadence XA250.2SUB STAGE:-Fi Audio BL 15 (Sealed Off)-Crescendo BC2kELECTRICAL:- Singer 240A alt - XS Power D3400- SkyHigh OFC power/speaker wire- Big 3 with SkyHigh 0gaugeBuild Log: Click HereScores: 146.5db @ 29hz Outlaw
Beanz
I'm 5 10 260 and I carry my 1911 full size with me. I concields mine in side my pants in the front with a hidden holster works great for me except when I'm doing long trips lol That's why they don't deliver. Yer ass better go sit along the side of the road and wait. You can't expect them to travel up some dirt road in a hick / back woods town. Thats how horror movies start I explain things very simply and use analogies in terms of Pickles, and grape drink, pool noodles and jackhammers...if you can't put 2 and 2 together there man, There simply is not much more I can do. LT.Smoke
There are tons... I prefer the Galco Kingtuk for IWB carry for mine... Very simple yet comfortable design and rugged ... Really depends on your budget whether you want an off the shelf brand or want to wait a few weeks for a custom leather or other material Team MaxRetribution Si Vis Pacem Parabellum Id rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6 Bowhunting- Life Begins and Ends at Full Draw Bowhunting Team Fatal Trajectory Hunt Team http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/49335-sick96vtecaccords-t-line-build/?hl=sick96vtecaccord << Accord Build http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/68498-smokedout08impalas-tline-build/?hl=+sick96vtecaccord << Impala T-line build Rebassed.com for all your music needs 👌
