HopenCagen Posted April 4, 2014 Report Posted April 4, 2014 I want to secure my box but dont want to screw anything into the box or alter the car. I was thinking getting some strong velcro and putting the rough side on the bottom of the box so it just sticks to the floor carpet stuff in the trunk. any suggestions?
finkster Posted April 4, 2014 Report Posted April 4, 2014 That will work fine. As long as there is a barrier between passengers and your box for life safety (such as the trunk seats which are fine) DAT 4125------>RE XXX comps active Eclipse cd7000 I serve drunks for a living
never knows best Posted April 4, 2014 Report Posted April 4, 2014 hope this is a trunk build because if not velcro aint going to stop the box from hitting you in the back of the head in a accident-
HopenCagen Posted April 4, 2014 Author Report Posted April 4, 2014 i dont like to drive people around but if i do its normally one person and theyre in the front seat, i keep my seats down because it makes my subs sound louder (;
never knows best Posted April 4, 2014 Report Posted April 4, 2014 hope it's loud when it's embedded in the back of your dome after a accident-
HopenCagen Posted April 4, 2014 Author Report Posted April 4, 2014 i guess that will take rattling my brains out to a new level.

Aj11 Posted April 5, 2014 Report Posted April 5, 2014 your box can fit threw that opening? I've never had a car or box that could. you can drill L brackets into the metal of your trunk. Just check where your gas tank is. I've seen people do that. as far as stuff flying in a accident, 2 kids were killed from my school from bricks. the kid who owned the Monte Carlo 87 i believe but cinder blocks in the rear so it would be better in the snow. well him and 3 of his friends were driving (2 in the rear seats) the driver lost control and hit a tree at 45mph. the bricks literally punched threw the seats and killed the 2 kids in the back seats. they really weren't going that fast. i know you don't want to drill holes in your car but the threat is very real! every box I've ever had has had 6 L brackets holding it in place.if if could fit threw the hole or not you don't want a 100+lb thing coming at you. please use caution man.that's no joke. jvc deck stinger 1800 front hc 2000 kinetic rear 2 runs of 1/0g big 3/4 ct 60.4 2 ct 1400.1 ct EXO 15 d1 lots of deadner type r comps front stage 6 kicker tweets rear stage lots of great stuff coming soon ho alt more bats ct comps for front stage more deadner sweet amp rack lots of L.E.D lights new deck (thinking 80 prs, or flip out)
