audiofanaticz
you may have a ground loop someplace causing engine whine. Or you may have some faulty rca cables that are not making a good ground connection through out them. If you got your signal cords (rca's) ran with your power wire to your amp(s) this could also cause this problem.. More info on the system please. Dave Brooks
I'm thinking you can start with some basic troubleshooting: Disconnect the RCA's - Is the noise still there? What "kind" of noise are you hearing? In other words, what does it sound like? High pitch, low pitch...

What "kind" of noise are you hearing? In other words, what does it sound like? High pitch, low pitch... go from there, and maybe get some ground loop isolators to try on it and see if that gets rid of the noise Quote First Gen Xterra: Always changing DNX 690HD RF 360.3RF T3002RF T4004RF T10001bdSilver Flute 6.5"s Tang Band 1" TweetersSundown X18 in 7cubes net tuned to 32hz Trust me .25 Blows your Load. BenH
Pioneer Pioneer's are notorious for preout problems. Try this http://www.caraudio.com/forum/showthread.php?t=198477 One time my buddy was about to throw out his hu and I suggested to him to try this and he told me that it fixed the problem.
