Kyblack76
You can get it as accurate as possible using some true rms clamps/meters, and doing it in a certain order. If you want to get as accurate as you can, doing the "clamp" method, Id pm TaylorFade. He, imho does it in the BEST most truthful accurate way possible. Nightshade
12Amps AC? Try setting meter to pickup DC current. Umm no. An amplifier puts out AC not DC. If amps put out DC the cones of your sub's would either be stuck out or in the entire time. 2013 VW Jetta GLI 2.0 Turbo 1 Sundown Audio SCV2000 1 Sundown Audio X15 V2 1 XS Power D3100 Audio Control LC6i Stock Deck 146.4 sealed on the dash at 37hz 2001 Focus ZX3: RETIRED Team Sundown Audio, Team XS Power, 2 time NSPL Car 3601-Up Champion, 2 time NSPL Car Hardcore ChampionHighest NSPL Scores to date:154.3db on the dash sealed at 46hz, 156.2db in the kick at 46hz155.2db unofficial on dash at 43hz
FuriousG
For some reason I was thinking amplifier current consumption when I got to end of thread lol
Guest
that spl 6000w amp is like 1500w anyways. wont output much power, especially at 2 and 4 ohms. subs hooked up will make the amp see a higher load, because of physics (short answer). if they're at rest the amp will see 2 ohms. but as soon as you touch the cone with your hand, for example, the impedance will jump all over the place.
