You have 16 inches high which means when you subtract at least 1.5 inches from your height ylu are at 14.5 inches. Youre very close to your entire baffle height with your cutout and thats something I avoid if I can help it. Unlless you fire up and thats just stipid in a trunk. You alos say you found a box. Which leads me to believe its a prefab. No way. The xs are the new hot kids on the block. A great mix of price power handling and performance. Since you have your useable dimensions go to sundowns site and pull the recommended box specs and displacement etc and see if you can make it work.
