littleitaly1990 Posted March 16, 2008 Report Posted March 16, 2008 I want numbers! my max dimensions are 27.5" deep, 41" wide, and basically as tall as necessary ...I think around 3 1/2 feet is as high as it will go but probably higher would be fine, since I will only use this at comps I dont mind letting it get high... Port then tune it to res of the car if its the jeep To find freq. there are a bunch of ways you can do that you will need a meter to do it there should be a thread here some where to tell you how to do it If not here check out www.dbdrag.com in there audio fourm I know they show a bunch of ways to get freq. Derrick824 Posted March 17, 2008 Report Posted March 17, 2008 (edited) In my experience with my Bl 18s I got louder with a smaller box. 10ft w/ 4 6" ports tuned to 32hz (so it still played deep) powered by a pair of T1ks hit a 148.3 @ 41hz (my res freq) in my Yukon. No doubt higher tuning and a higher res will be louder. Sorry but I never went all out spl. If I was to start testing again I would start with the same box though.
