Zak Katzer Posted April 17, 2014 Report Posted April 17, 2014 Hey guys quick question. I read somewhere that if you invert a sub you have to wire it differently. Could someone explain how I would wire a d1 sub to .5 if its inverted? thanks for the help! 2012 Silverado ext cab Kenwood DDX470 XS D3400 (starter) XS D375 (under passenger seat) XS d3100 Mechman 240 Big three SMD VM-1 All SHCA wire 80 sq feet of Damplifier 6.5 Crescendo CZ's (front doors) (needed) 5..25 Crescendo CZ's (back door) (needed) Crescendo 125.4 (needed) Sundown Zv4 12 Skar 4500 (2ohm)

Tecomah Posted April 17, 2014 Report Posted April 17, 2014 And you only have to do it if you have multiple subs and all of them aren't inverted. 750??! Yeah, fuck that. Fuck this website, fuck SMD, fuck Steve, fuck all of his butt buddy mods, and their couches.^ DON'T BE A DICK LIKE THIS GUY Team Subsonic Lows
CleanSierra Posted April 18, 2014 Report Posted April 18, 2014 As said, if you only have one sub, you don't have to wire it any differently than normal. If you have one sub in the box and one sub inverted, you will wire the one that is inverted 180° out of phase. You treat the negative as though it is positive and positive as though it's negative. Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.
