Im currently running a soundqubed 3500.1 and its definitely doing the job but I have an opportunity to get a dd m4 . Im not wanting this as a vs post all I'm asking is should I bother making the change ive herd that they are basically the same amp but I don't really believe that if the specs are correct the dd is stronger at 12 volts and it does 5000 at 14v. I hope I'm not violating the no vs all I'm asking is would I gain by swapping out amps. If I'm wasting my time ill just stay where I am. And I am talking about the new model m4 that's supposed to be a stronger version than the original. If I'm out of line with my question my apologies I just want input from someone who maby has had experience with the dd. Im currently running one ohm on my soundqubed amp and its pushing my three rf t2 12's . I do have dual alts on my 2010 z71 extra cab I have three optima 1000 cca batts and a dc xp270 that's dedicated just to my amps. Also have a db 250 amp th hat runs my truck all 0 gauge to everything . The 250 is just extra power if needed.

I don't think this would be considered a vs. thread. And honestly I hope it doesn't because I would like to see what some knowledged people have to say. I view SQ as a great company with awesome products for very good prices. So many people run then to their limits and I have seen them take abuse personally. I have never seen DD gear get abused with my own eyes yet but I see them as a company with great product for a price of course. tuned in for results lol

fuck the plating. look at what the main metal used is. you could buy unicorn blood plated terminals but if its just covering up dog shit, whats the point

I'll admit, half way through sanding that fiberglass in the rain and cold while I was all itchy I was definitely starting to question why i was doing this haha

Well my options right now are I can get another 3500 its th audioque version but the one that's the same and can be strapped to my existing amp but I really don't need that much power but I would like about an extra 1000. Plus all the extra electrical ill have to do to run the two 3500's. Please understand I'm not asking which is the better amp just if anyone with experience with these products could help me decide am I wasting time getting the dd m4 and also spending more on it or should I just go the strapped route . I know both are good amps and yes I do plan on changing subs but ive got a line on going either direction right now and I am just looking for some advice. Thanks and again if anyone takes this as a vs asking which is the better product I'm sorry that's not what is ment here. I will appreciate any input.

I would get another 3500 and strap.you can always turn the gain way down for less power on current subs if need.going from a 3500 to 5k isn't that big of a jump but doubling your power would be.then you'll have more power in the end for bigger subs.
