Swordlordboy1234
Load test, inspect for leaks/damage. That would make it a paper weight. make sure threads on the battery post are good.. If not you will have to attempt rethreading like i had to on my d3100... 60 extra dollars for a tapping kit and hardware that i didn't wanna spend. Actually coulda got a new d3100 for all the money i put into mine by trying to find a deal. Make sure the guy isn't a scum bag thats gonna take your money and run. Make sure the guy has no way of finding you and your system to steal shit back (assuming he does have bad intensions) See how old it is, any proof of purchase... (less important but why not know?) Thats just a quick list that i like to check off when looking at a used private sale battery. Swordlordboy1234
refurbished. Did you buy your car with a rebuilt title? I did and i regret it. Almost stopped me from ever wanting to buy a used car again. Sometimes its better to have something that hasn't been messed with by other idiots. dangaranga
Just make sure he load tests it with you watching so you know he isn't feeding you a line of bull. And watch resting voltage and voltage under load. Also get some type of warranty in writing.
