walwalka
I'm having some issues with a squeak in the box i just built. Here is the video I made of it. It's not very loud with my just pulling on it, so turn up the volume. But it get really loud with the subs playing, probably because of the flex going on. I'm thinking I'll tighten up the screws some, maybe put another one in each. Then fiberglass around them. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T2QwoU43Kgw https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=91mDFTFIVII How do you think I should go about fixing it? What is the best option? walwalka
3/4in birch, titebond II on all joints. 2-1 1/4in kreg screws through pocket holes on the inside every two inches. Should watch the video though. I can barely pull on the bracing and it will squeak. I'm guessing the glue joint just didn't hold, I'm just going to cut it out and brace it differently. 2010 Honda Civic LX / Deck: Kenwood DDX371 / Front Highs: Crescendo RTS-1 / Front Mids: Silver Flute 6.5's / 4 channel: DC Audio 90.4 / Sub: Fi 15in SP4v2 / Sub amp: Taramps HD 5000 / Power wire: Knukonceptz OFC 1/0 / Deadener: Audio Technix 60 mil / Batteries: XS Power D5100R / Rear bank: TBD / Alternator: Singer 240a hairpin
