At first I thought there was a vacuum leak, cause it was barely doing 50mph with the thing almost floored. After replacing the sensor I was able to get it over 60 mph and still had plenty of pedal travel left.

Find out what spark plugs you used.

I used Autolite spark plugs, but did discover something that I thought I had right. 2 of the plug wires were in fact crossed. Don't know how it happened since I replaced them one at a time.

Nope I was wrong, they wasn't crossed.

Ditch the duralast wires and get some motorcraft wires. The best plugs and wires for a stock ignition system are always stock ones. Also can't tell you how many cheap wires I have seen be bad right out of the box or shortly after being installed.

That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.
