suppa 12 for computer

Recommended Posts

Whatcha guys got for your computer? I originally bought 2 SA-12's for my truck, decided on one for my truck and had my other sitting on my kitchen table for about 2 weeks... I walked down to my garage and got this box I bought last year for my surround sound at my old house and put my other 12 in it, 4.2 cubic feet tuned to 27hz, gets pretty loud and low for 200 watts.... One day I will build my mini towers for my desktop, I have them designed just cant afford to spend the 120$ on the drivers and parts just yet, the desktop speakers are powered by the RE 600.2. the speakers are 2 sony little things, they sound fine they look ghetto as hell but, heh

Working on a dipole project for my computer (in sig).

I got to rebuild my JBL 12" woofers for the low end, but after I get the mid and tweeter set up. I might get a pair 8" for the lower mid-range, but I'm pretty satisfied without it so far.

Krakin's Home Dipole Project

Krakin, are you some sort of mad scientist?

I would have replied earlier, but I was measuring the output of my amp with a yardstick . . .

What you hear is not the air pressure variation in itself

but what has drawn your attention

in the two streams of superimposed air pressure variations at your eardrums

An acoustic event has dimensions of Time, Tone, Loudness and Space

Everyone learns to render the 3-dimensional localization of sound based on the individual shape of their ears,

thus no formula can achieve a definite effect for every listener.
