It was back in 99 when I had one 15" Atomic Thunder Shocker on a chrunch amp. If memory serves correctly I hit 141.5db. He said he is able to install the Viper 5706 today for me. This is a huge weight off of my shoulders because I didn't know when I would have time to do it. Hopefully I will get word tomorrow also about the alt and wires. Anyone ever order a DC Power alt? How long does it usually take? Also same questions about Execution Audio cables. So far, I am most impressed with Sky High Car Audio's shipping turn around. goldeneye4564 Posted May 6, 2014 Report Share Posted May 6, 2014 looks good. i had one of my btl 18s in a hyundai accent hatchback. 6.5 cube box tuned to 33 htz and it slammed good. did about a 145 on the meter. try to find a local alternator repair shop for a higher output alt. maybe see if they can even rewind your current one or get a bigger stator. t-line are cool when they work but i would just stick that sub in a slot port box and go ham. edit: stator I RREEALLY ANGRY WIT U PHOTOBUCKET. crw092782 Posted May 6, 2014 Author Report Share Posted May 6, 2014 Well I have already placed in the order for the alternator so I will just wait for it to arrive. With the big order coming in today, I should have most of the stuff I need to get rolling on this build. The biggest problem I have is that I live in an apartment without a garage. I have to drive to my dad's house to use any garage time I may need. I'm thinking of just going there this weekend and taking over the garage to get the rest of the car deadened and wire it up. Trying to decide if I want to run one set of components in the stock locations and then fiberglass the second set in later, or just do it all at once and get it done. I was never given a shipping order or tracking number when it shipped so I don't know who dropped the ball there. Two spools of Zero for the power runs and Big 3. 1 spool of 8 AWG for the sub. 2 spools of 12 AWG for the components. 4 AWG Sky High for the 4-ch amp. A couple more 0-0 fused blocks from Sky High. The best part is that I now have everything I need to start installing. I can't wait for Saturday!
