Alpine Type R 12 5th gen

I'm running 1200w to my type R with no issues except my own. I was just about to give up on my Type R and the guys on here showed me what was up. I dont think you'll find much better for the price. I've been abusing the hell out of this thing and its running like a champ. Ported/vented box though, don't disappoint yourself man.

I have a hifonics Zeus ZRX1000.1 bbeliefe said it want do 900rms. My box is a wedge box with specs of 21.5 Wide 14 Tall Top Depth is 7 Bottom Depth is 8.5 Thats a net VOL of 0.9. What sub would be the best ported? Also whats the max rms that the hifonics Zeus 1000.1 will do?

Sounds like you should get a Type-R. if you can port it and get at least 1.7 cubes (manf Spec) you wont be dissapointed, i finally have mine tuned to where it sounds good on everything i listen to and the response to the different frequencies in a song to me is my favorite part. If you look at the specs on this speaker, it has an fs of 29hz. So you could tune your box that loud and be able to hit super low. Mine is at around 33hz and it hits nice now. IDK about that amps rms, my understanding was brutus and brutus elite are the only hifonics amps that put out true rms but idk, im still a noob.
