Kicker l7 Box Torres questions

i have a kicker l7 2ohm 12 in a sealed box and i hate it. i want to build a ported box. i have built a few in the past that have sounded amazing but wanted to try usuig this Torres program to see if what it says. sorry maybe im alittle confued but i cant figure this thing out for the life of me. not to sound stupid but can anyone help?

Just put in your box dimensions and mess aroind with the port section till you get it to a frequency you like.

With the kicker l7

Put a 0.11 in the sub displacement

If you want port on side put a 3 in common wall

And in the height minis 2x the wood thickness and that's the port height

In the port ratio aim for 14sq" per foot

2cuft -3.5cuft net

7-800rms

Welcome, sure you hate an L7 in sealed lol, the best place for you to ask is the subwoofers/enclosures section, can tell you that Torres just calculates but itself won't tell you if you are doing the right thing for the sub, that you get from the manufacturer and people who know them. Hint: never skimp on box size with these.

sorry i havent messed with it lately. i am thinking about doing a sub up port forward (towards trunk). trying to tune at like 38 to 35 hz. im running a metrik 1900d i got off a friend but not really sure how i feel about it. i used to have 2 4000 bamfs on 2 american bass xfls which was crazy. i just liked the amps. never had a problem. i dont have any with this amp. im just debating and selling it and getting another bamf. any ideas? box i think im ok i will upload some pics when i can. im hoping to buld it this weekend. pending on funds haha. thanks everyone seriously.
