ZENADRO
I want to put a 45 in my port and was wondering what the rule is to follow. What to do and what not to do? My port is 3 3/4 wide. All edges are round over. Please help.
timc31610
The measurement from the outer edge of your port bend to the center of your 45 needs to be the same as your port width. The width of the 45 depends on keeping the port width constant. Like this: This is for a slanted turn, if you are rounding then the 45 size would need to be a little smaller so that the width of the port remains the same at the corner as at the rest of the port.
