I took many coats it get it lookin really good but I didn't do any sanding or anything. I'm sure if you did it might turn out even better though. It covered up the grain pretty well, can't even see it. The good thing about birch is that it's already smooth so you don't need to sand much. And the fact more than one person agrees does not make it a circle jerk, it makes it a bukkake scene and you're in the middle Chick took 3 shots of Jager, and then, pissed in my mouth.. KillaCam Posted May 5, 2014 Report Share Posted May 5, 2014 Just be carefull when doing a bunch of coats. I learned the hard way and had to sand and redo it. Make sure all your paint, primer and clear are the same brand and keep the cans you arnt using in the house so they are at a safe temp. It can make your paint wrinkle and crack.
