It came with no freakin blue box just the alt with black plastic cover on the back. Sorry to be so stupid you must troll my topic. Everyone starts somewhere troll so move on if you have no help to offer alternator master. An externally regulated alternator would have had a heat sink looking object that is to be wired in with the alt when installed. If you do not have one of these then you are internally regulated.
