Will have aq3500 one day so two runs of 1/0 to the back of my car. Do I fuse both runs and what fuses do I use? Also where can I get ring terminals from for 1/0 gauge? Is there a cheap digital volt meter I can get for now until I can get the smd one. CleanSierra Posted May 8, 2014 Report Share Posted May 8, 2014 You fuse for the wire, that's what he was getting at. You don't fuse for the amp, you fuse to protect the wire and the vehicle. Fuse both runs of 1/0 gauge at whatever the rating of the wire is. If you're going to compete, you'll have to fuse down if it's an organization that takes fusing into account(MECA).
