magillaru
Had a water leak in my trunk which caused some damage to the corner of my box (luckily on the opposite side of electrical components) so instead of just building a new box, I want to build the box into the trunk and seal everything off (subs firing forward). I've never built a box myself and would love to try but I don't have the time, tools and most importantly any experience with this. I got a quote from a local shop for $600-$700. This seems like a lot. I know that it's going to take a lot more time and work compared to just building a regular box but still.... Car: Honda Accord Just curious to see what you guys think about that price tag. I'd also like to point out that this is the only good car audio shop in my area. I also told the guy that I'm not worried about making it pretty, so this is pretty much going to be just MDF, no carpet, fiberglass, etc. Singer Alternators Team Asshole #anothershittysingerbuild

magillaru
East side of Cleveland. I get they need to charge for their time but that seems like a lot to screw some wood together. I walked in there thinking around $300-350 at the most. Singer Alternators Team Asshole #anothershittysingerbuild
