12 cubes too big?

IMO, that box would be good for 3 15s, and the amp would be more appropriate as well.

Several systems, several vehicles. Always changing!

And which 5000 Watt amp?

taramps

i had a design built and that's the size. 10.75 after displacement. i thought it was too big but i built it anyway. the more i read i felt it was too big. but the guy who sold me the design told me it was good. but i can box the corners out to make the box smaller.

A little over 5 cubes net per sub ISN'T terrible. I'd definitely just be mindful of where you have the gain set on the amp, backed off from the highest clean signal a bit.

How much port area does this box have?

Have you played any music with this current box yet? If anything, it should really smash the lows. Bandwidth may be narrow, but lows should sound good.

Also, what tuning frequency?

Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.
