2000TACO Posted May 11, 2014 Report Posted May 11, 2014 I have a batt up front and an XS D925 in the back and I have 0ga from front to back and the rear amp grounded to the frame with 0ga, all knukonceptz. I have a soundqubed Q1200 and a rockford R300x4 wired to the rear batt and grounded to the body. The Q1200 is hooked up and is fine. I went to hook the R300x4 up and it blew the 80 amp fuse when I hooked it to the positive terminal. I went to get other fuses and I got fuse district block and I put an 80amp in and went to hook the wire into the other end and it sparked and blew the fuse. Tried it with a 100 and did it again. I only have a few fuses left so I don't want to blow them just trying stuff so I was wondering is there something I'm doing wrong?? Please help I just got the system together and I'm ready to hear it and every little thing after another is holding me back loganberry, on 17 October 2009 - 11:39 PM, said: on the lows it sounds like a 90 year old vagina flapping in the wind JayP, on 10 June 2010 - 4:53 AM, said: Your truck looks like a prostitute gave the car a blow job with starburst in it's mouth.
hazestorm23 Posted May 11, 2014 Report Posted May 11, 2014 Are you connecting ground and remote and then positive?
2000TACO Posted May 11, 2014 Author Report Posted May 11, 2014 The 300x4 is not new, I'm thinking it could be fried. And I had the power ground and remote all cooked in the amp and the wire on the batt going to the fuse and from the fries to the amp and as soon as I try to connect the fuse into the holder it pops loganberry, on 17 October 2009 - 11:39 PM, said: on the lows it sounds like a 90 year old vagina flapping in the wind JayP, on 10 June 2010 - 4:53 AM, said: Your truck looks like a prostitute gave the car a blow job with starburst in it's mouth.

Buy it on craigslist or what?
2000TACO Posted May 11, 2014 Author Report Posted May 11, 2014 I've had the amp and when I hooked it up I didn't include the inline fuse (i was in a hurry and I'm an idiot) and it spark hard want I touched the positive to the D925 and I was like oh crap I forgot the fuse so I disconnect the positive and cut the power and put in the inline and is soon and I went to hook the positive back up it popes the fuse that's why I'm thinking I fried the amp. That's what I get for being in a hurry. Lesson learned. I just need other opinions before I order another loganberry, on 17 October 2009 - 11:39 PM, said: on the lows it sounds like a 90 year old vagina flapping in the wind JayP, on 10 June 2010 - 4:53 AM, said: Your truck looks like a prostitute gave the car a blow job with starburst in it's mouth.

2000TACO Posted May 11, 2014 Author Report Posted May 11, 2014 I didn't notice any strong unusual smells from it. That's what I don't understand... Why would it keep popping the fuse when I go to put the wire from the fuse to the amp back into the fuse block?? loganberry, on 17 October 2009 - 11:39 PM, said: on the lows it sounds like a 90 year old vagina flapping in the wind JayP, on 10 June 2010 - 4:53 AM, said: Your truck looks like a prostitute gave the car a blow job with starburst in it's mouth.
