Tarball
1999 Denali 5.7 Vortec Been having strange issues lately. Started about 3-4 days ago. First, for no reason one morning the truck didnt start. It turned over and would run for about 1-2 seconds then die. Fuel pump was replaced about 1-2 months ago and I could hear the pump clearly when it had this recent issue. Later in the day it started fine, no issues, drives fine and havent had a problem since then (I'm thinking maybe Crank Position Sensor on this one). Second, my passenger side headlight went out. Just out of the blue and I think my high beam on that side is very dim. I'll just replace this Third, and here is where it gets strange. I turned my right turn signal on and it flashes really fast, then slow, then fast. My first thought is oh this is just because of the light that is out. But my horn doesn't work. When I press the horn, the right turn signal flashes!! I turn the truck off, and the horn works. I start the ruck again and the horn makes the right turn signal blink. Now individually I would think these are all isolated issues that need to be addressed, but prior to this I have had no issues with the electrical stuff in this truck. The stereo is still bone stock, stock battery, stock alt, no amps or aftermarket accessories. Is it just me or are these problems somehow related ? And how do I fix the third one ? Tarball
Solved - I didn't even think that i had recently had the front fender replaced. They stripped out the fender ground bolt so the ground for the harness on that side was barely touching, connecting sometimes and sometimes not. Took it back in and they "fixed" it. I could have fixed it but there were a couple of other things they missed so I wanted them to do it. Thanks for the input guys.
