Replace Factory Dash (3.5") Speakers in 2009 Toyota FJ Cruiser

Hello all,

I'm new to this forum so I would like to say at first glance, this forum seemed very active and most importantly, gratefully helpful. There is so much information on this forum that I am still learning where everything is on this message board, damn. So allow me to say thank you from Memphis, Tennessee.

I currently own a 2009 Toyota FJ Cruiser (purchased it less than a month ago). I have changed out all factory speaker/system components. I'll make a list so I'm not typing a dang story:

Most products are from my previous vehicles I've collected:

- Pioneer AVIC-X950BH Navigation Head Unit

- Kenwood KFC-6984PS Door Speakers

- JL Audio XD600/1v2 Amplifier

- JL Audio W3v3 12" Subwoofer

My question is - My FJ Cruiser currently has 2 factory 3.5" dash speakers laying upward towards the windshield. I'm no expert so I wanted to ask the community, I know this space is very small, but what could I do or replace with it to improve the sound quality?

Thanks!

Dave

audible physics has some awesome 3-3.5 full range speakers. very pricey but there awesome

Yep those are a bit pricey for me at the moment to be honest, but I guess if they are worth it I can make an exception :gift: . Maybe I can find a pair of used ones that still have plenty of life left.

Are there any other good options? I honestly am learning day by day about audio products. I'm looking for something in the $50-$70 range. I know you get what you pay for but I bet with they budget, it will be 100% better than the piece of crap factory 3.5 dash speakers

Do a component set and replace the 3.5" with the tweeter.

If you don't want to do that I would do JBL, Polk or JL Audio 3.5"

2010 Mazda 3s 2.5L

Pioneer DEH-X9600BHS

Knu OFC 1/0

SS Platinum AGM / XS Power XP750

Alpine PDX F-4 / Morel Maximo 5 + Coax 5

IA 10.1 / SSA XCON 12
