starkey814
Ok, well.... this will be a very slow process but it'll get done eventually..... I've been wanting to put a system in my Silverado for a long time now, just haven't has the funds..... I know some of you can relate to that.... Last night I was playing around with some ideas and came up with this- 4 Sundown e8v3 (ported box with fiberglass mold for the bottom so I can get max air space) RF R1200-1 for the subs RF R250X4 for the doors 1 set of R165 in each door Big 3 upgrade And of course, I have to support SMD so I threw a VM-1 in the mix Now, that brings me to some questions.....keep in mind that this will be my first full on build with this truck and first build since I was 17. 1. What is a good HU that will work good with an Android or a processor? I would like to keep the stock HU because of my steering wheel controls. 2. Port tuning? I'm pretty sure I have more questions but work is getting busy so I'll shoot some later... All of you guys help is greatly appreciated.
deeje
You can get a good pioneer pretty cheap and get the steering wheel adapter for like 50. So keep your controls and a nice new stereo. I'd either get the appradio if you want a double din. Or the deh8600 I think. It's the one I just got. Most expensive single din they make but very nice. --2004 Toyota 4runner New Build Log -2002 Acura Tl-S Old Build Log Team DC Audio spl dust is an option you can get on the coils... it's great for extra 1000 watts of power where can i get this spl dust and how much is it. is it hard to apply? lol
starkey814
I'm stuck between a double din or a single. I really don't know which I want....

deeje
I've always used a double din. Till this truck. Can't fit anything other then a single din without doing some serious glasing. --2004 Toyota 4runner New Build Log -2002 Acura Tl-S Old Build Log Team DC Audio spl dust is an option you can get on the coils... it's great for extra 1000 watts of power where can i get this spl dust and how much is it. is it hard to apply? lol

starkey814
I think I will be running a LC2i. Any thoughts on that or suggestions? Like I said, this will be a super slow build but I am getting more and more ideas and will post a build log when I get around to it.
