shepherd92683 Posted May 23, 2014 Report Posted May 23, 2014 I understand that with having regulated voltage control, grounds must pass through it or the current is not measured by the system. I originally had my rear battery grounded to the frame with bad results. My question is can I run a ground from a ground point that has already been through the rvc or does the ground that goes to the rear battery HAVE to go through the rvc separately? If it has to, there is certainly no room for it to fit so I'm screwed. How has anyone else ran grounds to rear battery's that has a newer GM vehicle with this sensor? 2017 Honda Accord Touring Build coming soon
White Lightning Posted May 23, 2014 Report Posted May 23, 2014 If you are driving the vehicle listed on your signature, then EVERYTHING grounds to the frame at some point. If you are having porblems with the frame ground, maybe you should troubleshoot that problem First. We have a Trail Blazer on our team. shepherd92683 Posted May 25, 2014 Author Report Posted May 25, 2014 Does anybody have a system reading this that has the rvc? Hard to believe that there are no topics on this and there isn't much knowledge when I think most 2006 and up GM vehicles have this. I understand the purpose of it, I want am really looking for the best way to run all grounds to maintain the highest voltage possible. 2017 Honda Accord Touring Build coming soon
