Brent Anderson Posted May 25, 2014 Report Posted May 25, 2014 if anyone can help me out but im thinking of placing a few 2 by 4 blocks of wood inside a subwoofer box but not sure how much will it be taking up in cubic feet for something that will be 1 foot long? I was just going to ball park it and say .1 cubic feet for the bracing? but not sure how this works for torres tuning calculator?

Jessica Posted May 25, 2014 Report Posted May 25, 2014 2x4's are like 1.5 X 3.5 fyi Rest in peace, walled 87 accord build log 03' Corolla build with AA Mayhem inside. My super random youtube channel and terrible camera work. Wiring comparison by CaptainzPlanetz Wire and fuse guide by Guest SyKo13
truthsayer Posted May 25, 2014 Report Posted May 25, 2014 I personally wouldn't use 2x4's, they take out to much space and add lots of weight. Why not go with all-thread, the space taken will be minimal, almost no need to factor in the displacement. It.s pretty cheap also. That's just my personal opinion. truthsayer
Triticum Agricolam Posted May 26, 2014 Report Posted May 26, 2014 I'd use 3/4" or 1" hardwood dowels if it were me. Like truthsayer said, 2x4s are going to be way overkill, and that's just wasted space and weight.
