2011 F150 Update: Blown sub, wall planning back in progress

Recommended Posts

Any pics with the iPad in?

You mean in the dash piece? Or the dash piece actually installed? Either way, no. Lol. The dash isn't installed yet, but I can get some pics of it with the iPad in it later tonight when I get home from work.

Also, for those wondering about the fuse panel, today will be a good test to see how it holds up to the weather, as it's pouring right now. So I guess I'll find out tonight if those fuse holders are waterproof.

Check out my build!

Thanks Wood! I'm really happy with how they turned out. The guys that built them definitely do some top notch work.

And just an update on a new mod not stereo related. I've been wanting to do something with my headlights for a looooong time but just haven't been able to decide what exactly I wanted. Well, on another forum these lights came up for sale so I brought them. Not professionally retrofitted or anything, but the price was right and will appease me for now. Might try to tackle a retro of my own with some JW speaker lights if I feel up to it :| The lights are on my table now, just waiting on a harness from TRS and in they'll go :)

Hope you like those TRS HID's. They are top notch, and their customer service is killer.

Ya, I've heard nothing but good things about their customer service. I got the tracking number for the harness the day after I bought it. The only issue I'm facing is USPS' tracking system... It says it departed Atlanta on May 29, and that's the last update :| Should be here by now, so I think I'll wait another day or two and call them up.

Baaahahaha!! That's good, All-Or-Nothing. But you're right. The more I look at it, and the more people that chime in about it. The more I wonder WTF he was thinking. I'll be changing that up immediately when I get the chance.

I'm thinking of buying some 0 gauge to 0 gauge connectors, and soldering those areas back together. Then relocating the fuses to the engine bay. I know the ideal way to do it would be to redo those runs of wire. But I can't see there being an issue doing it the way I've outlined and I've blown enough $$$ on this stupid truck as it is...
