ibf150
I hear that, I'm not planning on going bigger than 6k-8k rms. Gonna take my time with it and make a good looking box and call it a day. I've thought about the whole backseat thing, but I use the bed of my truck more often. Forgot to show you these all back together. So I'm really not too concerned about losing it. It'll make carrying my bike a little harder, but I have a plan for mounting some bike carriers to my tonneau. If it turns out right, it's gonna look super badass. And speaking of badass. Those doors!! That red looks perfect on there! CLPeller
No stereo updates. But here are some pics I took the other day. My mom and I surprised my dad with a 1949 Cadillac so I made the 1000Km round trip to pick it up and bring it to him. Here are a couple pics of it hooked up to my truck Check out my build! 4 sets CT Sounds Meso components in custom fiberglass doors, 4 D'amore Engineering AF-15's on a DC Audio 3.5K http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/187649-2011-f150-fiberglass-doors-half-wall-16000-w/

CLPeller
That's a badass car. Just needs to be slammed shitfaced into the ground Hahah ya it's pretty badass. Although, I don't really see my dad doing that. He's more into restoring to original than resto-modding. CLPeller
Any progress with the build dude? Don't worry! I haven't forgot about this thread! Hahah. Unfortunately there hasn't been any progress in the past few months. The guy who is building it is just doing it on his days off (we work a 15 on, 6 off schedule) and for the past little while he's had something come up on days off. A couple family reunions, and then a couple deaths in the family. As much as I wish it had been that I forgot to update, that's not the case. But, I can't really hold any of that against him. He's got the box all cut out and everything, so if that gets built this next set off, I might just take the works down to a local shop and have them finish the install. As soon as there is more progress I will update for sure!! CLPeller
Box is near done!!!! 3.6 cuft per sub, tuned to 38 Hz Test fitting the face. Box is at a bit of an angle, so it wanted to slide off. Port will be on the top, firing over the centre console. CLPeller
So, an update... Good news and bad news. First off the bad news. I'm not 100% happy with where my electrical is at right now, so I won't be running the Stetsom or evils over winter. Too many damn things on this vehicle depend on electrical, and that's not something I want to mess with over winter. My main concern is the power steering. No pump, it's all Electronic. I don't want to fry that if I have voltage issues. So for right now my product list has changed to a DC Audio 3.5K running 4 D'amore Engineering AF-15's. Still gonna be running 4 sets of components, so this thing should scream pretty damn good. Now, the good news. If all goes well, it'll be up and running a week from now. The guy who built my doors is going to taking on the rest of the install, and as you have all seen already, he does amazing work. The box won't be wrapped or anything until next spring, because I just want it playing for winter. It can be prettied up once our 8 month winter is over. lol. With that being said, I took a pic of all my stuff that'll be going in. Missing: 1 sub, amps, MS-8.
