Its pretty much completed at this point, but there is always a few things I will continue to tinker with ... Here goes! Equipment... Head Unit - Alpine INA-W910 Front Stage Amp - Audison LRx 2.9 Sub Amp - Audison LRx 1.2k Front Stage Speaks - Hertz Mille MLK 2 Subwoofers - (2) Hertz SPL Show SX 380d 15's Under Hood Battery - Stinger SPP1500DC Accessory Battery - Stinger SPP680 Alternator - DC Power 270 XP (on order, these guys take forever!) Sound Deadening - HushMat Interconnects - Stinger 8000 Series Power wire - Stinger HPM 1/0 AWG Random Extras - SHCA Battery Terminals/Heatshrink/Lugs and Techflex on Under Hood Wiring That's the skinny, now for the build pics!!!
suzi427 Posted May 31, 2014 Author Report Posted May 31, 2014 Heres a pic of her to start with I wanted this install to be fairly stealth so I could utilize the space of my Burb, so I decided to gut the Bose amp/sub out of the center console and cut up the plastic to fit my amps/crossovers/and battery. Out of sight out of mind! Still arranging things... putting the console support back in...

I built a 3/4" MDF baffle so I could mount the mids in the door panel... Tweeters this nice deserved some custom pillars in my opinion. They prob deserved them from someone other than me, lol, but my work was all I had in the budget! So away I went...

suzi427 Posted May 31, 2014 Author Report Posted May 31, 2014 Under hood all prettied up thanks to some techflex, SHCA terminals and heat shrink, and a few hours of my time. Took awhile to get it all the way I wanted, and built a mount for the SHCA fuse holders... A few things I did extra aside from the audio. Escalade style gauge face/needles/bezel... I also got an Escalade clock from ebay and built a mount from some black plexi to match the pillar inserts...

Leepersc Posted June 2, 2014 Report Posted June 2, 2014 VERY nice work! Impeccable wood working skills to be honest. I'm definitely tuned in for more!! I do kinda wish the Hertz subs had different cones...ones that don't say "SPL Show". Kinda corny in my opinion. Obviously not your fault...install is beautiful nevertheless.
